FunFindsBlog: Happy Labor Day

Happy Labor Day to all.  Hope you enjoy your end of summer, which is observed on the first Monday in September.  This holiday is often regarded as a day of rest and parties.  Most folks will celebrate with picnics, barbecues, water sports and public events.

In high society circles, Labor Day was the last day of the year when it is fashionable to wear white or seersucker.  Aren’t you glad you’re not high society?  For our sporting fans in the U.S., Labor Day marks the beginning of the NFL and college football seasons.

Whatever you choose to do with your holiday weekend, please do it safely.  If you’re considering a celebration, here’s some recipes from our friends at allrecipes.com.
