FunFindsBlog: Salad Scissors

California Pizza Kitchen-watch out!!! You can make a salad as finally chopped as the ones you’ll get there with this Toss and Chop nifty salad scissor. You can find it at Williams-Sonoma  and Bed Bath and Beyond, just to name a few places.

It’s just so easy to make a great chopped salad with this scissors.

The top part is a double bladed scissors. The bottom has a semi scoop.

Just scoop and snip with these choppers.  Put your lettuce in a bowl and snip away. Go coarse or fine depending on your mood. Then, you can add the rest of your salad stuff like peppers, artichokes, chicken, etc.

Things that are real squishy like tomatoes don’t do that well. There’s too much liquid with them, so you’ll need to do them by hand and add them in separately.

Negatives are that a lot of the food sticks to the blade, so you might have to rinse the choppers a couple of times.  Also, not dishwasher safe, so you do have to hand wash them.

I learned the hard way that it was not dishwasher safe, but let me tell you I LOVE using this to chop up my salads! Such a great gadget!
