We highly recommend sea bands for the non-medical treatment of motion sickness. In fact, these might even help nausea associated with chemotherapy, morning sickness, and other motion-related nausea.
Having been on quite a few cruises, and having travelled many miles is cars, these items have helped tremendously. They work by placing them on the wrist in a specific acupressure point. Simply follow the instructions provided within the packaging and you should be good to go. In fact, if you try or have tried them, let us know your experience.
Here a few different choices to consider (prices and looks vary):
Sea-Bands – They generally come is gray or black. Not really great for cruise wear, but does the job.
PSI Bands – These come in a small variety of colors. Still not necessarily dressy enough for cruising, but a better fashion option.
Rogue Swan Anti Nausea Bracelets – These bands come in a variety of colors. We haven’t tried them, but they offer the variety we’d like to see in fashion options that solve a very big problem.
